A former First National Vice-chairperson of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Madam Anita De-soso has declared her untimely retirement from active political activities after her defeat by 300 votes by the delegates of the party on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

She unites with her sister with whom she filled in as National Women’s Organizer at one time, former Gender Minister Otiko Afisah Djaba who additionally declared her retirement from dynamic governmental issues after a reshuffle tossed her to Italy from her ministerial post.

Anita De-soso was talking on Accra100.5FM’s Ghana Yensom facilitated by Kwabena Prah Jnr on Monday, November 19,2018.

“I thank every one of the general population who voted in favor of me, despite the fact that the result was unexpected,” she said of her pummeling.

“I have been active in politics for 39 great years and I have never been on leave. I am taking a break, I am not quitting the party, I wish everyone in the party well.” she said.

She, be that as it may, illuminated something vital, that she has not surrendered or stopped the NDC for good.

“I haven’t resigned from the party, I am just taking a break, I will be back.” she cleared up.
